Stop! Danger!

The play «Stop! Danger!» was shown to the children of Petropavlovsk.

The premiere took place at the puppet theater, reports Petropavlovsk.news. Actors from the regional puppet theater took on the task of teaching children safety measures in extreme situations. On September 15, 2023, in the cozy hall of the theater filled with spectators aged 5 and up, the premiere of the play was held. Preschoolers and elementary school students reacted vividly to the adventures of the main characters of the play, Nuri and Olya. Nuri’s antics, attempting to violate fire safety rules at home and in the forest, Olya’s mistakes, going swimming in the sea without her grandmother’s supervision, the incident with the children on the ice of the pond, which almost ended in tragedy — all of this was reflected on the faces of the children filling the theater hall. The dangers that children face when using gas appliances and matches in their homes, why the forest can catch fire, how to act in case of a fire, why it’s dangerous to play on the ice — these and other questions were addressed by the actors during quiz lessons after each scene, feeling the strong support from the audience of little spectators.

Actors Nursultan Kalkabek and Diana Sadvakasova, who embodied the roles of a firefighter and rescuer, taught the young audience the basics of safety, repeatedly reminding children of the emergency numbers 101 and 112 to call in case of threats to their lives and health. The 45-minute performance flew by in an instant! The audience didn’t want to part with their beloved characters for a long time.

In addition to the colorful performance, children were treated to another surprise in the theater lobby — an exhibition of equipment and special machinery of firefighters and rescuers from the emergency fire service of North Kazakhstan Region. Children and teenagers eagerly tried on the gear of firefighters and rescuers, familiarized themselves with technical novelties. The kids experienced a lot of emotions on this day.
